Sean Price is SafeNet’s Corporate
Vice President, Business Development, where he is responsible for working
closely with the Company’s sales and marketing leadership on business
development, corporate development, channel partner relationships, and new
vertical market opportunities.
Prior to
assuming this role, Mr. Price was SafeNet’s Vice President of Worldwide
Channels, where he was responsible for driving the development of new programs
and growth opportunities for SafeNet’s channel partners. As a result of
his successful efforts, Mr. Price was recognized by CRN magazine as a Top Channel Chief in 2011.
Prior to rejoining
SafeNet in 2009, Mr. Price served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales at Fidelis
Security Systems where he was responsible for the development and execution of
the company’s global sales strategy, including the direct, indirect and strategic
sales channels for the worldwide commercial and U. S. federal markets. Mr. Price was responsible for
creating and executing the company’s global partnership with IBM Internet
Security System’s which integrated Fidelis into IBM’s multi-tiered partner program. He also doubled the company’s revenues within
the first year of his appointment.
From 2004 -2008, Mr.
Price served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Application Security
Incorporated. During his tenure,
Application Security grew from a small start up to a leader in database
security vulnerability assessment, experiencing triple-digit growth year over
year.
From 1997-2004, Mr. Price served
as SafeNet’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business
Development. In this role, Mr. Price led
SafeNet’s global initiatives to attract large enterprise customers as well as foster
strategic OEM partnerships. He also played an instrumental role in corporate
development and actively participated in executing the company's acquisition
strategy. Before joining SafeNet, Mr. Price held executive sales positions at
Nuera Communications Inc. and Network Equipment Technologies.
