Corporate Vice President, Quality and Business Process Improvement

Steve Walsh serves as SafeNet’s Corporate Vice President of Quality Assurance and Business Process Improvement. In his role, Mr. Walsh is responsible for the overall quality of SafeNet’s core processes and products, as well as ensuring and enhancing SafeNet’s customer experience worldwide.  

Mr. Walsh is a highly experienced executive with a specific focus in business process improvement, quality assurance, and customer service.  Prior to joining SafeNet in 2010, Mr. Walsh held a series of executive management positions at Ciena Corporation, including Vice President of Quality and Business Processes Improvement and Vice President of Global Network Services for the Americas.  During his tenure at Ciena from 1997-2010, Mr. Walsh was responsible for the successful development and implementation of quality management systems, organizational integration and design and implementation of customer service management processes. Prior to joining Ciena, Mr. Walsh served as a Senior Engineer, Industrial Engineering and Customer Support at United Parcel Service from 1988-1997.

Mr. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
