Overview

SafeNet Customer Services provide the tools and technical assistance necessary to assure that your SafeNet security product or solution will deliver optimal performance, security, and reliability. These services include a broad range of options that include flexible Support Service plans, Professional Services, and Education Services. Each has service options matched to a specific SafeNet product family and are designed to enable your IT and security administration personnel to improve their efficiency and expertise, and your product development organizations to meet your business objectives. SafeNet’s product families are summarized as follows:

  • Enterprise security products include IPSec Gateway and client products, communication link encryptors, secure access control gateways, hardware security modules (HSMs), smart cards, USB tokens, single sign-on solutions, credential management systems and security management products.
  • Digital Rights Management products include hardware and software products that provide the software and entertainment industries with piracy protection for their intellectual property.
  • OEM products include security technology and components for customers to embed and build security products and solutions for networking and communications security.

Support Services

SafeNet provides warranty coverage and optional product support services to customers wishing to maintain their products for optimum security, reliability and performance. As your business continues to grow and evolve, it makes sense to protect your investment with an extended service support plan. Extended service plan options are offered that are appropriate for each SafeNet product family and designed to meet the needs of each SafeNet customer.

For SafeNet's Enterprise product family two different levels of extended product support services are offered - an Extended Service Plan and a Plus Service Plan. Find out more by going to the Enterprise Support Services Web page.

SafeNet's Rights Management product family offers a Unified Software Protection plan that includes the highest level of support in the industry with our SafeNet Service Pledge. Also, the Sentinel Integration Center provides online resources to assist your development staff.

Professional Services

SafeNet Professional Services are provided by SafeNet product specialists from each respective SafeNet product family, such as Enterprise and Rights Management. Professional Services offerings are designed to assist customers with product deployments, integration, assessments, and general consulting.

A comprehensive set of Professional Services offerings appropriate for the Enterprise product family is under development. Currently Enterprise Professional Services offers:

  • SafeNet HSM Implementation Services to assure that the deployment of your SafeNet HSM is accomplished in an optimum manner and that best practices and technical knowledge are effectively transferred to your IT personnel.

SafeNet Rights Management Professional Services are available to help you along the path to a successful license management solution. Our professionals are backed by SafeNet's license management expertise. SafeNet has been setting the standard for software protection since 1984 and over 35 million applications worldwide are protected by SafeNet Sentinel products.

Education Services

SafeNet's Customer Services team offers a comprehensive menu of technology and product training options that provide you with the technical detail and capabilities needed to ensure that you can successfully operate and maintain your SafeNet security products. Training classes are offered in either formal class room settings or informally over the Internet through live Webinars. Standard training classes are offered or you may wish to work with SafeNet trainers for delivery of a customized class that more appropriately meets your needs.

Enrollment for class room training sessions may be made on an individual basis or as a large group. Groups of up to 12 can be enrolled for classes to be held either at SafeNet's training facilities or at your site. We have education centers located around the world and instructors who are network security experts. Formal class room settings consist of in-depth, hands-on training based upon real world experience. Reference materials and study guides are provided with each class.
