The toolkit includes an independent trust model implementation that also conforms to the CMLA trust model definition, providing service providers certificate provisioning. Protection of all confidential key information (as defined by CMLA robustness requirements) is done by manipulating keys only in protected form. This can be combined with key processing and storage in secure Hardware.
