Mykotronx Employee Benefits

Working Here

Scope

The following topics discuss the SafeNet Mykotronx work environment and employee policies:

Introductory Period

All newly hired regular full-time and regular part-time SafeNet Mykotronx employees work on an introductory basis for the first ninety (90) days of employment. This policy also applies to rehires. The Introductory Period may be extended for a period not to exceed an additional ninety (90) days, subject to approval by the Director, Human Resources and the second level Supervisor. Any significant absence will automatically extend the Introductory Period by the length of the absence.

The Introductory Period is designed to allow the employee and supervisor an appropriate orientation, training and evaluation period to assess the employee’s interest and ability to achieve a satisfactory level of performance in their new position. Either the employee or the Company may terminate the employment relationship at any time during or after the Introductory Period.

Prior to the end of the Introductory Period, the Supervisor will complete the appropriate Performance Appraisal, obtain required approvals, and discuss overall performance with the employee. At this meeting, employee goals for the remaining annual performance period will be established.

This policy, in no way, does not alter the “employment-at-will” relationship between SafeNet Mykotronx and its employees, nor does it create an expressed or implied contract or promise concerning future employment.

Hours and Definition of the Work Day

All regular full-time employees are expected to work 40 hours per week. SafeNet Mykotronx permits “flex-time”, but the Company business generally is such that employees need to communicate with each other, as well as vendors and customers, on a daily basis.

Working hours vary depending on department schedules. In addition, staffing requirements and operational demands may also necessitate variations in an employee’s starting and ending times, as well as variations in the total hours that may be scheduled each day and week. Some positions, by the nature of the job, may not be eligible for flexible schedules.

When We Get Paid

At SafeNet Mykotronx we are paid on a bi-weekly basis every other Wednesday. The paycheck you receive reflects your current earnings, less applicable deductions and authorized payments on your behalf (e.g., payments to your 401(k) account).

Direct Deposit

For employee convenience, you may choose to have your paycheck automatically deposited into your personal checking or savings account. Forms for this purpose are located on the SafeNet Mykotronx Intranet. Completed forms should be submitted to the Payroll Department.

Professional Appearance

At SafeNet Mykotronx, we want to project a professional image at all times. We do allow “Business Casual Attire” to be worn Monday through Friday; this attire must in no way diminish the professional image of SafeNet Mykotronx. We recognize our Company is made up of employees from many different cultural backgrounds, where style of dress may differ. Individual departments may have specific requirements based on the type of work performed.

Performance Evaluations

At SafeNet Mykotronx, performance evaluations are usually provided on an annual basis. Generally, the entire Company is evaluated during the same time period. However, depending the requirements of the department, evaluations may occur more or less frequently.

Training Policy

SafeNet Mykotronx believes that successful training can be an investment in our future and we encourage employees to attend training classes that directly relate to the responsibilities of their positions.

For any employees that wish to attend training and/or certification classes, a description of the training course must be forwarded to their department manager for approval along with a summary of how the training course applies tot heir specific job duties. Once approval is given for the training course, the employee may enroll in the program.
