Based in Torrance, California, SafeNet Mykotronx employs approximately 250 people. The company was founded in 1979 as Myko Enterprises; it incorporated and became Mykotronx, Inc. in 1987. In 1995, Mykotronx, Inc. became a subsidiary of Rainbow Technologies Inc., and in 2004, merged with SafeNet, Inc. and became its subsidiary.
