Features and Benefits
The WLA-7HS Wireline Interface Adapter Module:
- Supports both unbalanced (3-wire) and balanced (2-wire or 4-wire)
modes. If used in conjunction with a Safenet Mykotronx KIV-7 or KIV-7HS,
selection of 2-wire or 4-wire balanced operation is automatic.
- Provides greater versatility in connecting to field wire by using
either the front panel binding posts or the rear panel D-type connectors,
and integrated line protection circuits eliminate the need for external
line protection. Loopback test mode makes troubleshooting near-end
and distant connections easy.
- Accommodates both internal and external clock modes up to a maximum
data rate of 2.048 Mbps. A variable frequency synthesizer provides
the internal clock mode with 4-digit accuracy to the maximum data
rate. External clocking can be provided by external communications
equipment or by a station clock
