KG-227 and KG-228 Flight Units

The KG-227 and KG-228 flight boxes are designed for data rates from 1 to 100 MBPS and from 250 BPS to 10 MBPS, respectively.

• Satellite telemetry and mission data encryptors and command link decryptor.
• Cryptographically compatible with the KGV-227 VLSI microcircuit, Pegasus Ground Unit (MYK-17).
• Maximum data rate of 100 Mbps for the KG-227 and 10 Mbps for the KG-228.
• Differential ECL Data 1/0 for the KG-227 and TTL compatible for the KG-228.
• Same footprint as KG-46 flight unit.
• Configurable for encryption or decryption.
• Key index and fill commands.
• Removable key PROM assembly.
