SecureZIP works seamlessly within an organization's PKI environment, with encryption certificates being accessible from virtually any LDAP-compliant directory. An administrative module provides the capability to "lock down" security options for an entire organization or for individual workgroups.

SecureZIP provides "persistent security", meaning information is protected in storage as well as during transfer over networks. And because SecureZIP is built on the ZIP data compression standard, organizations can actually reduce the size of encrypted files saving bandwidth and storage space.

SecureZIP has been validated interoperable with SafeNet iKey 2032 tokens via SafeNet Borderless Security Single Sign-On middleware to seamlessly access a user's credentials for signing/authentication and encryption/decryption of SecureZIP files. Users merely install SecureZIP and SafeNet Borderless Security Single Sign-On middleware by following each product's standard installation procedure. No special configuration is required.
