VeriSign is working closely with SafeNet on a scalable infrastructure for securing the heart of the Internet — the Domain Name System (DNS). VeriSign has selected SafeNet to be the exclusive provider of hardware security products for Certificate Authority (CA) and Registration Authority (RA) key protection. VeriSign and the majority of their network of international affiliates, including CIBC Canada and British Telecom, use SafeNet's Luna® technology to provide trusted root-key protection for their Certificate Authority services.
