SafeEnterprise Frame Encryptor

SafeEnterprise Frame Encryptor products meet these needs by providing the widest range of frame encryption solutions available.

The Frame Encryptor supports up to 992 simultaneous crypto sessions. To ensure maximum security, different encryption keys are used for each virtual circuit or DLCI. Each Frame Encryptor positively identifies other Frame Encryptor units and will not accept frames from unauthorized sources. Once a connection is established, data is encrypted as it flows between nodes.

As a dedicated standalone hardware encryption device, the SafeEnterprise Frame Encryptor offers the strongest security, as well as ease of management and upgradeability. Higher performance is achieved by encrypting only data portions of network traffic. The header information is left intact, enabling traffic to flow over any private or public frame relay network.

The SafeEnterprise Frame Encryptor is securely managed and configured by SafeEnterprise™ Security Management Center, SafeNet's SNMP-based management system. SafeEnterprise Security Management Center provides full remote administration of all Frame Encryptor units on the network. The SafeEnterprise Frame Encryptor is also fully compatible with its predecessor, SafeNet's SecureFrame Unit.
