ProtectToolkit RSA

SafeNet Inc's ProtectToolkit RSA is a high-level application programming interface which enables the RSA public key cryptographic functions of SafeNet's PCI adapters to be accessible to application software. It is operating system independent and consists of a range of 'C' language callable functions. The ProtectToolkit RSA requires SafeNet's Encryption Services API (ESAPI) to be installed.

The ProtectToolkit RSA supports Microsoft 'C', Borland Turbo 'C' and IBM C Set++ source languages. Other compilers which accept Microsoft object libraries should be compatible.

Versions are currently available for OS/2 2.x, 3.0, Windows 3.x, SCO Unix 4.1 and MS-DOS environments. The same source code will work with all forms of the API without modification. The ProtectToolkit RSA is re-entrant at the process and thread levels on operating systems where this is supported.
