ATM Key Management (Remote ATM Initialization)

Mark II supports initialization of the ATM master key (DES or 3DES) using manual or remote techniques. For ATMs that require manual key loading, the HSM provides key mailer functionality that performs key generation and printing of key components / parts. The HSM also incorporates comprehensive functionality in support of remote initialization of the ATM master key using public key cryptography (RSA).

Performance

Available in different performance levels (PL) of function calls per second for typical 3DES processes

Note: The HSMs in-field performance upgrade capability allows for the expansion of processing speed at any time in line with a customer’s transaction throughput needs.

Optional access through host API can be delivered using ProtectToolkit EFT providing transparent communications and load sharing.
