Sentinel HASP features product activation that allows software publishers to deploy their software either over the Web or through traditional physical shipment of shrink-wrapped product. In either case, the software must be activated prior to use. Activation can be either via a secure Internet transaction or through an email exchange.
The end user electronically transmits a unique product key supplied by the software vendor to a remote Sentinel HASP Business Studio Server and a Sentinel HASP SL protection key containing license terms is sent back and installed on the end-users’ PC, activating the software. The Business Studio API included with Sentinel HASP enables integration with your backend systems such as ERP or CRM.
