QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit
QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit provides an easy-to-integrate, high-performance IKEv2 authentication solution
for IPsec, VPN, Fibre Channel, WLAN, and mobile network applications.
Overview
QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit is a flexible solution for OEM vendors to integrate the IKEv2 authentication protocol
into advanced networking solutions. It provides an easy to integrate IKEv2 authentication solution that enables
maximum security, performance, and reliability. For OEM developers, QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit offers a faster, more
reliable, and more cost effective IPSec authentication solution than in-house designs.
IKEv2 Advantages
IKEv2 is an integral part of the security architecture of next generation IPsec VPNs, 3G core network elements, Fibre Channel storage networks, Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) devices, and WLAN roaming solutions. A significant improvement over legacy IKEv1 implementations, the IKEv2 authentication framework features improved security, a simplified architecture, and enhanced support for remote users. In addition, IKEv2 supports IP address allocation and EAP to enable different authentication methods and remote access scenarios.
SafeNet has actively been driving the standardization and adoption of the IKEv2. The participation in the IETF standard body combined with SafeNet’s proven security expertise ensures that QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit provides an IETF compliant, high-quality IKEv2 solution.
Flexible Integration and Interoperability
QuickSec IKEv2 Toolkit is easily portable across platforms and can be seamlessly integrated into any 3rd party IPsec application requiring IKE authentication. This ease of integration significantly reduces OEM development time and results in lower project cost.
