The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) have selected SafeNet as an exclusive vendor of disk and file encryption solutions for all federal government agencies and select state governments under the U.S. government's DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) and GSA SmartBUY program. These two initiatives optimizes federal buying processes to streamline deployments of enterprise level software and achieve cost savings.

SafeNet enables you to meet not only your mobile encryption needs, but also offers strong two-factor authentication and secure remote access for increased security, thereby laying the foundation for HSPD-12 compliance.

SafeNet ProtectDrive Software. The original full-disk encryption solution encrypts the entire hard drive of laptops, workstations and servers, as well as USB flash drives and hard disks, to protect data in the case of the theft or loss of a hardware device.

SafeNet ProtectPack Software. ProtectPack enables secure, encrypted transfer and storage of confidential data files on unprotected mediums (local, portable, and on the network) that are difficult to defend by conventional perimeter security mechanisms.

Lowest Cost of Ownership through Easy Administration

ProtectDrive features the lowest total cost of ownership because it leverages as its management platform what your agency already know and uses, Active Directory. This minimizes training and deployment costs. As well, SmartBUY customers are entitled to the ProtectPack file encryption utility, smart card middleware, and VPN client software* at no additional charge.

VPN Remote Access

The SafeNet HighAssurance Remote VPN Client is available to U.S. government employees for free as part of an established (non-SmartBUY) government contract. High-level features include FIPS validation, device authentication, and the Advanced Standard (AES) algorithm.
